Obviously the earlier in the process we are involved, the more seamless and complete our system’s integration can be. For example, systems involving batteries can often heavily influence the design of the home’s electrical service, and can cause redundant work in the MEP design if integration happens too late in the design process. Also, coordinating during the placement of rooftop equipment such as mechanical units, vents, and other architectural features can improve the esthetics of the system and the maximum number of solar panels that can fit on the roof.

We think our low-profile solar system designs add a clean, high tech look that add to the aesthetics of a site. However, if you don’t share our love of solar, we can work to hide the system components so they are as discreet as possible. A solar roof may also be the right fit when the goal is for the system to be completely invisible.

The systems provide the same power you can get from the grid in a less expensive and more reliable way.

Can a solar electric system function during a power outage?

Definitely. A solar system with battery storage can fully replace any other backup power system without the need for hookups to gas utilities, buried fuel tanks, exhaust fumes, or engine noises. Since the sun is acting as a natural fuel source, energy is automatically replenished each day allowing for indefinite power backup capabilities. And with < 10ms response time, there is no delay when backup power turns on, protecting sensitive electronics and providing whole home power filtration.
